About Us
It is almost two years now since we first moved to Auckland... the first time that either of us, especially I (according to the husband), had been out of the caressing warmth of family and friends and jerked in to reality of "the independent life".
In Auckland I found the first kitchen that a) belonged only to me and b) was smaller than a walk-in closet in an average home. However, our passion for good food, a desire to recreate the flavours of home and experiment with international cuisine, pushed us to perform elaborate culinary experiments (some good, most disastrous).
Killer On The Plate is a culmination of our random food experiments. A presentation of our sensibilities. A manifestation of our experiences. A journey peppered by some right turns, many wrong turns, few wrong turns turned right and several wrong turns that turned out not all wrong but mere diversions from the mundane.. Follow us (pun intended)! and we will ensure you enjoy the ride.
